The new facility will allow Logitech to deliver products faster. It stocks a wide range of Logitech products, including gaming equipment, keyboards, webcams, and video conferencing tools. With its strategic location, the hub will ensure better inventory management and quicker access to new products. This also means Logitech can strengthen its relationships with customers and partners.

Stephen O’Mullan, Logitech’s Head of Global Logistics, mentioned that the Jebel Ali Free Zone is a key location because of its large customer base. Customers also expressed a preference for this area, which made it an even better choice for their operations.

Partnership with Maersk for Stronger Logistics

Logitech is also partnering with Maersk for this expansion. Maersk is a major logistics provider in the UAE and plays a vital role in trade across the region. The company operates from the Jebel Ali Free Zone, which is known for its excellent infrastructure and tax advantages. Maersk’s experience in the region will help ensure smooth logistics for Logitech.

Moninder Jain, Vice President of Emerging Markets at Logitech, shared that this new distribution center will bring the company closer to its customers and partners. He also noted that it demonstrates Logitech’s commitment to the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, and Central Asia.

This move shows that Logitech is focused on improving service in these regions while benefiting from the UAE’s efficient logistics and transport networks.
