A **Loss/Damage Report** (also known as a discrepancy report) is crucial evidence for insurance claims.

Be Specific: "Damaged" is vague. "Water damage on SW corner of pallet" is specific.
Joint Inspection: Ideally, have the delivering driver sign the report to acknowledge the findings.
