TERMS OF DELIVERY
Please deliver the cargo described above to the consignee or their authorized clearing
agent.
The release is subject to full payment of freight and local charges.
The carrier accepts no liability after the cargo has left the terminal gate.
Import Release Process
Final Release
The DO is the document that tells the terminal or warehouse operator that the freight has been paid and the cargo is ready for pickup.
Demurrage Risk
Ensure your DO is issued before the container's "Free Time" expires to avoid heavy daily storage penalties from the port.
E-DO Systems
Modern ports now use Electronic Delivery Orders (E-DO), but many regions still require a printed DO with an original bank stamp for final release.
